Mr. Antonio Toré Toré, popularly known as “Toto,” is considered one of the main promoters of the tourism industry in Málaga. Between 1966 and 1975 (the year of his passing), he built and promoted more than 3,200 homes in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, almost all of them in Torre del Mar, creating a unique tourist destination that endures to this day.
He not only built the homes but also attracted the attention of Europeans to the small fishing village of Torre del Mar, bringing the Málaga and Andalusian way of life to their countries, and inviting many of them to spend a few days on the Málaga coast to soak up its essence. This promotional technique was very avant-garde for the time, and its direct result has been the creation of small communities of foreigners, who have passed down the tradition of living part of the year on the eastern coast of Málaga from generation to generation.
His children continued the work of Mr. Antonio Toré Toré, dedicating their efforts to making homes in Torre del Mar affordable for all their clients, fostering the growth of the municipality.
Juan De Dios Toré Vivar continued with his father’s legacy by founding Constructora Promotora Biznalar S.L., which, with the same entrepreneurial and approachable spirit, has promoted and built over 2,000 homes and continues to do so, now with the help of his children, who, as the third generation, are immersed in the family business.
